Abounding Grace: The Law of God
God’s abounding grace is revealed to us in the Ten Commandments.
The Apostle Paul says, “So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good,” Romans 7:12. Based on his statement, we believe that God’s law is an expression of his goodness to us and his creation. But for the law to be a source of goodness, we must use it lawfully (1 Timothy 1:8). As the Westminster Larger Catechism explains, the law is given to inform us about God, convince us of our sin and need for rescue, and humble us in our union with Christ. Join us as we learn from the Ten Commandments.
