This guide provides a list of the opportunities available for you to serve and get involved in the life and ministry of ECPC. There are plenty of ways to exercise your gifts and talents. Please note: some serving opportunities require an application process.
KIDS AND STUDENTS
Our children’s ministries invest in the lives of our children by teaching them about Jesus on their level in a safe environment. Each week, babies–5th graders are taught the Bible in creative, age-appropriate ways while building relationships with adult volunteers and peers. Volunteers with our Little Lambs (birth—age 4) are asked to serve 2-3 times a quarter during the worship service. Gospel Kids (preK—5th grade) volunteers serve for one month at a time during the school year as small group leaders. Teen assistants serve alongside adult volunteers on an as-needed basis.
Our student ministry to 6th—12th graders, exists to reach students with the gospel of Jesus and disciple them as they grow into mature believers. Crew Leaders are senior high students who serve alongside our youth director to disciple and lead our middle school ministry. Adult volunteers serve as leaders for all ages, and help lead discipleship groups for our senior high students.
All volunteers serving in children’s and student ministries must complete our volunteer screening process. Find out more and get started HERE.
GREETERS/USHERS
Greeters specialize in making people feel welcome at ECPC and assisting new visitors in finding their way around. There are opportunities to serve before and after the service, and to help out with special events as well.
A number of ushers are needed each Sunday to hand out bulletins, assist with seating in the sanctuary, and collect the offering.
If you are interested in serving a Greeter, contact Ted Robinson.
If you are interested in serving as an Usher, contact Jack Lucas.
PRODUCTION
Production team volunteers work alongside the worship team to manage the audio/visual side of the worship service. Volunteers are needed before and during the worship service to run the sound board and manage worship service visuals. Production volunteers are also needed for our Gospel Kids program each Sunday.
WORSHIP TEAM
Put your vocal or instrumental talent to work during the worship service. Our blended style of worship means there’s room for a wide variety of musical talent on our worship team.
VOLUNTEER TASKS
Interested in serving ECPC on your own or with your life group or family? We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities that could be done as a group or individual service project, including preparation/organization of children’s ministries materials, general building organization/maintenance, special groundskeeping needs, and more!
EMBRACE GRACE
Through weekly support groups, baby shower celebrations, and ongoing discipleship, we have an opportunity to be a part of the pro-life/pro-love solution that saves lives both physically and eternally. We have needs for group leaders, volunteer coordinators, baby shower volunteers, and more.
